Why do women have Vulvar Fat Transfer?

There are a variety of personal reasons why a woman may choose to have this surgery. Most commonly it is done for deflated, thin, or asymmetrical labia majora related to aging, weight loss, or postpartum changes, and may also improve comfort in clothing or with activity.

What happens during Vulvar Fat Transfer?

Step 1 – Fat harvesting

A small cannula is used to gently liposuction fat from a donor area such as the abdomen, inner thighs, hips, or flanks.

Step 2 – Processing

The fat is purified to prepare it for transfer and improve fat cell survival.

Step 3 – Injection

The processed fat is carefully injected into the labia majora in small amounts and multiple layers to create even, natural‑looking fullness and symmetry.
