Is there a place for my family to wait?

Yes! We've done everything we can to make our waiting area as comfortable and welcoming as possible. If they need anything at all while they're waiting, we're here to help.

Question 2

Will there be a bunch of other patients in the pre-op and post-op area?

Accepted Answer

No! Our facility is designed to make surgical care for women both private and comforting.

Question 3

I'm not currently a patient at Minnesota Women's Care. Can my surgery still be scheduled in your facility?

Accepted Answer

You do not need to be a current patient. If your provider has recommended surgery, we'll meet with you and determine next steps.

Question 4

Do you accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We accept nearly all insurance. However, there are some procedures that insurance companies typically do not cover. You'll need to check with your insurance company in advance to find out what coverage you have.

I'm not sure I need surgery, but something seems wrong. Can I still get an appointment?

Question 6

Will I know who my surgeon is in advance?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Before your surgery is even scheduled, a surgeon will meet with you to determine the best path forward for you and your condition.

Are you accredited?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Joint Commission surveyed our organization and facility and we were accredited in the Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation Program.
